Javascript

To enable Javascript please follow the instructions for your browser version below.

Internet Explorer

  1. With Internet Explorer open, click Tools menu, then click Internet Options and select the Security tab.
  2. Click on the Internet zone icon.
  3. Click on the Custom Level button.
  4. In the Security Settings box that appears scroll down to the Scripting section.
  5. Find the Active Scripting option and click Enable.
  6. Click OK and OK again to close all dialogue boxes
  7. Javascript should now be enabled. Click Refresh on the original page to check.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click on the Tools menu, then click Options.
  2. Click on the Content icon.
  3. Check the Enable JavaScript check box.
  4. Click OK to close the dialogue box.
  5. Javascript should now be enabled. Click refresh on the original page to check.

Opera

  1. Click on the Tools menu, then click Preferences.
  2. Click on the Advanced tab.
  3. Check the Enable JavaScript check box.
  4. Click OK to close the dialogue box.
  5. Javascript should now be enabled. Click refresh on the original page to check.

If you are using a browser other than those listed above, try searching Google on how to enable Javascript.


Browser version

To check your browser version simply follow the instructions below, this method applies to most popular browsers.

  1. Click on Help from your browsers menu bar.
  2. Click on About [browser name], for example: About Internet Explorer.
  3. You should now be able to see your browser version, it will be in the format of: Version: 7.0.####.## or Version: 2.0.#.##.

Flash Player version

To check your version of the Adobe Flash Player please visit the free online testing tool located at: http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_15507.


Searching

You can search the Ricmedia website using the Google search box on the top right of every page just as you would any search engine, just make sure that the radio button next to www.ricmedia.com is selected. You may also search the internet if the Web radio button is selected (Web is selected by default). Some common search operators are listed below.

  • OR operator (example: pencil OR pen)
  • " " quote marks operator (example: "To be or not to be")
  • - minus symbol operator (example: money -loan, the word money but not the word loan)
